Accessibility Statement
(Making PDFs Easier for Everyone)
We believe the internet should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology. Here is an honest look at how we are making FillPDFNow inclusive, and where we are still improving.
Updated: January 2026
Our Goal
FillPDFNow is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
What We Are Doing
As a small, independent team, we strive to build our site with clean code that works well with assistive technologies.
- Keyboard Navigation: We test our menus and pages to ensure they can be navigated without a mouse, which is vital for users who rely on computers with keyboard-only setups.
- High Contrast: We use dark text on light backgrounds (Slate Blue on White) to make reading easier for users with visual impairments.
- Clear Language: We avoid confusing jargon. Whether you are learning how to sign a PDF or reading our privacy policy, we write in plain English.
Known Limitations
The “Canvas” Challenge
Our PDF Editor uses a technology called HTML5 Canvas. This essentially turns the PDF page into an image so you can draw on it.
The Challenge: Because the document becomes an image during editing, traditional Screen Readers (used by blind or low-vision users) may struggle to read the text inside the PDF while you are editing it.
We are actively looking for solutions to this technical limitation. In the meantime, if you are unable to use the editor due to a disability, please contact us below.
